Submission Guidelines

VISPRINT, Inc. is open to publishing a variety of literary genres, both in English and in Filipino. However, we favor works that are very Pinoy in taste, evocative of our society and culture, and/or set in Philippine background.

The manuscript should be at least 90% complete upon submission of the proposal.

Intially, a Letter of Proposal is required, sent through email [bestbookproposal@visprint.net]or via postal mail.

Included in the proposal are the following:
1. Relevant information about the author, background in writing/publishing, contact details
2. Information about the manuscript:
  • Brief summary
  • 2 sample chapters, or sample pages not more than 10 pages
  • Proposed design of the physical layout of the book
3. Sales pitch
  • Target market of the book
  • Marketability
If your proposal is convincing enough, we will request for a complete copy of the manuscript for our review. For hard prints, please enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope in case you’d like your manuscript returned.

Allow us 60 days, at least, before sending a follow-up on your proposal.

      Hi. Google provides tons of example. However, their format are different from each other. Is it okay if we just follow any of them?

    Good morning. I just want to ask about the author's identity or background. What if the author doesn't want to disclose the real name I mean his/her identity? But is willing to provide the location and contact numbers as well? Is real name a requirement? I hope you can answer my question. Thanks.

      Hi. An author's identity may be kept as a "secret" from readers.

      However, the author-publisher relationship is business in nature and requires full disclosure. Legal documents and taxes are involved in the process of book publishing.

    Hello Visprint! Do you publish a Manga? Since I have a trilogy of my story. It also has 4 sister stories. Since it might be a illustration do I have to submit the chapters or just the sample Manuscript? Thanks!

    Hi, you do require 2 sample chapters. What if my piece has no chapter? I compiled 100 Dagli, same genre as Sir. Eros Ataila with his book 'Wag Lang Di Makaraos', how many sample piece do you require in this case?
